Time is the most valuable commodity. So precious that you are unable to buy more. Once lost, it can never be replenished. - Samuel Ajayi-Obe
It's time to refocus on our joyful well-being and commit to showing up for ourselves in all that we do. We know that distractions are always going to pull our focus away, but that doesn't mean that they're important. It just means our attention is limited and we need to prioritize what's meaningful and important, truly important today, tomorrow, and in our future.
Sure, we have to do mundane things to maintain our lifestyles. We have to do the general maintenance list items such as laundry, food shop, etc. But, we have to ask ourselves if these general duties are more important than our well-being? Do we fit them in after we take care of our physical, mental, and emotional well-being, or do we do the mundane and then figure out if we have the time to make ourselves a priority in our day?
The most common reason I hear why we don't show up for ourselves is "I don't have the time". Is that true? Or is it an issue of priorities? This is a question we have to ask and honestly answer. We don't have to explain to anyone else what our priorities are, but when we're sick, when we truly are out of time, will we regret not caring for ourselves if we kept saying "I don't have time?" People who care about us don't want us to be frazzled and scattered, unhappy and unhealthy, everyone who loves us would give us the same advice. Make the time, prioritize and treat yourself with love and kindness.
When we meditate upon that, we'll create the time, and when we love ourselves as a parent loves a child, we'll make our happiness and wellness our daily priority too.
TIP: Wake up 30 minutes earlier and start every day being alone and quiet. Use this time to count your blessings, cultivate gratitude, breathe, go for a walk, or whatever recharges your batteries. Just be kind and loving to yourself. You deserve much more time but it's an easy start for now. Enjoy every delicious moment of it.

Bliss Workshop
Flow, Yin, Restorative, Meditation, and Essential Oils.
Friday, May 20th
7 - 8:30 pm
with Lisa
Bliss Body Meditation combines gentle Flow, Yin, and Restorative practices to create an invigorating, relaxing, and deeply regenerative experience. We will begin practice with a restorative lunar flow sequence linking movement with breath to root down energetically and physically calm our nervous system. Followed by the deep release of longer held yin-inspired postures (deep stretching that targets the body's dense tissues and fascia) then relax deeply into purely restorative postures and a supportive ending using bolsters and eye pillows for an extended Savasana resulting in a blissful body and meditative experience.
Only 6 spots remain open. Register now so you don't miss it!
